Pain Control

Hypnosis is proven to be effective for reducing and/or eliminating physical pain.

Believe it or not, pain is a good thing! Acute pain alerts us to when something is wrong. It is like a fire alarm that gets our attention, and hopefully inspires us to take action.

Chronic pain, on the other hand, is not so good. It is like a fire alarm that just keeps going off, even after we have been alerted to the danger of the fire.

Now, here is the important part. If we ignore the fire alarm, if we ignore the pain that is telling us something is wrong, our body will keep trying to get our attention, until if feels that we have gotten the message.

If you have chronic pain,

I must tell you to GO SEE A DOCTOR.

I am capable of alleviating your pain, but it would be unethical of me to do so if you have not heard the message that your body is trying to tell you AND THEN DONE SOMETHING ABOUT IT. That would be like if your house was on fire, but I disconnected your smoke detector because you didn’t like the sound.

Sometimes, chronic pain can persist even after you have gone to see a doctor, and taken the appropriate steps to remedy your situation. That would be like if your smoke detector went off and you woke up and put out the fire but you cant get the smoke detector to turn off. There are various neurological and/or emotional reasons why your pain alarm might be stuck making “noise”. This is where I come in. I can help you turn the volume down on that alarm or even turn it off, BUT only if you have gone to see a medical professional first.

All pain control clients

must have a doctor’s referral

Before we begin, I can provide you with the proper referral form or you can put me in touch with your doctor. Once you have the clearance from your doctor to turn off your pain we can get to work and quickly give you renewed energy, strength and freedom!

I had been experiencing intermittent but increasingly more frequent pain in my feet, knees, and hip joints for over 2 years. In one session, Morgan took me through some visualizations that made me understand that the pain I was experiencing was not caused by injuries or anything irreversible. Based on knowing my mom’s history of arthritis, I had assumed that it was just bound to happen to me as well. However, when I overcame that limiting belief, I was able to change the way I used my body which has led to my being virtually pain free after years of chronic pain.
